Our Story

Hanahan Insulation was founded in 2020 by a team that grew up in the Hanahan area and understood the specific challenges Lowcountry homes face. Hot summers, high humidity, older housing stock built before modern energy codes - these are not abstract problems here. They are the daily reality for homeowners in Berkeley County from April through October.

Most of the homes in Hanahan were built between the 1970s and the early 2000s, long before current insulation standards existed. Families near Tanner Plantation, over by Joint Base Charleston, and throughout the city were paying too much to cool homes that were never properly sealed or insulated. That is the problem we set out to fix.

Since 2020, Hanahan Insulation has helped homeowners and business owners across the Charleston metro area reduce energy costs, stop moisture problems before they escalate, and make their homes genuinely more comfortable. We are a local company serving local neighbors - and that is not going to change.
